The Parrot (pronounced "pah-row") Health Science Library is named after prominent local oncologist Hadley Parrot, MD. The Library provides all EMMC/EMHS staff with medical information which will assist them in patient care, hospital administration, or professional education. We also serve patients, patients' families, students, and community members.

The Parrot Health Science Library is dedicated to delivering education, information and outreach to healthcare providers and consumers in the Eastern Maine Healthcare community. We cooperate with other information providers in our region to ensure efficient and cost-effective access to quality health information.
