EMMC Auxiliary is hoping you will join us for a unique culinary experience. It’s a gathering  of friends, food and drink at our tapas wine and beer dinner. There is nothing more synonymous with Spanish cuisine than tapas, the tradition of combining small plates to form a meal of the day. The evening will begin with a delightful selection of appetizers. Next, we will enjoy the demonstrated tapas presented at different stations. It will be fun to see courses prepared, smell the tempting aromas and taste the delectable foods. You can sit and be served or gather around the stations and watch the preparation of each dish. Dessert will be enjoyed upstairs to complete our tapas tour. All courses include a guided pairing of Winterport Wines and Penobscot Bay Brewery ales. This evening is sure to be one to share with family and friends.

The Seventh Annual Kitchen Tour is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM and will feature six fantastic kitchens in the Bangor-Orono area. All funds raised by the tour go toward completing our pledge to Champion the Cure, the capital campaign for CancerCare of Maine; nursing scholarships and Children’s Miracle Network to benefit children in eastern and northern Maine.  Please click here to see a list of the kitchens on tour this year.  Kitchen Tour tickets are $25 per person and are available on-line or, after Labor Day, will be available at the Auxiliary Gift Shop (at EMMC and Lafayette Cancer Center in Brewer), Patrick's Hallmark, Rebecca's, and Miller Drug/Westgate Branch. The ticket gives you entry to each of the six kitchens.
