employee. They are:
- Choice
A
- Choice
B
- Choice
C

preventive care, provider office visits, hospitalization, and outpatient
services, etc. All three plans also have an employer funded Choice Fund
established to provide $1,000 for an individual and $2,000 for employees
covering dependents as first dollar coverage. This Choice Fund is used to pay
the first $1,000 or $2,000 of covered services. The fund is applied towards the
plan deductible and out-of-pocket maximum. Additionally, any unused dollars in
your fund at the end of the year roll over into your Choice Fund for use in
following years. The only difference between plans is the amount of the

Planned, Earned, and Paid Time Off (PEP)
EMMC has adopted a unique time off plan called PEP Time (Planned, Earned, and Paid time off). The purpose of the PEP time program is twofold: it permits employees to schedule time off to meet their own needs and it allows EMMC to better schedule employees to meet patient needs.
This comprehensive plan replaces the traditional vacation, holiday, and sick leave plans by allowing regular full-time and regular part-time employees to accumulate a single amount of paid time off per year.
