Each year, thousands of people come down with the seasonal flu.
One of the best ways to protect against the seasonal flu is to get a seasonal flu vaccine* annually. EMMC is offering several vaccine clinics beginning on Saturday, September 26, 2009 to ensure that any adult in the community who would like to get the seasonal flu shot have access to one conveniently and affordably.
The vaccine clinics will be held at Eastern Maine Medical Center, 489 State Street, Bangor. The cost for the seasonal flu vaccine* is $25. Cash, check, and credit card will all be accepted. EMMC is also able to bill insurance. People are asked to make payment at the time of their appointments.

* Please note, the seasonal flu vaccine is different than the H1N1 (swine) flu vaccine that will be made available later this fall. We will notify the public when the H1N1 vaccine becomes and available.
Also, limited vaccine quantities may cause cancellation of clinics. Please check this site frequently.
