Jean H. Tibbetts, MD graduated Cum Laude with honors from Williams College. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine. Her postgraduate medical training took place at Rhode Island Hospital and Tufts New England Medical Center. She has completed numerous advanced training courses and symposiums specific to the specialty of Ophthalmology. Dr. Tibbetts has been in private practice for more than 20 years. She is on the active staff of both local hospitals, serving as Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Joseph's Hospital. She is a clinical instructor in Ophthalmology at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Tibbetts is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, belongs to numerous professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
