(Bangor, ME) – Eastern Maine Medical Center is again encouraging its employees to think green as we celebrate Earth Month. On Wednesday, April 25, 2012 EMMC is holding its annual spring universal waste recycling day. EMMC is encouraging its employees to stop by the Wing Parking Lot from 9 am – 2 pm to drop off their unwanted televisions, computers, printers, and monitors for recycling at no charge. E-Waste Recycling will park a truck in the Wing Lot and take employees’ unwanted items for free.
Eastern Maine Medical Center is proud to take a leadership position on this important community issue and is committed to doing the right thing for the people of Maine by helping our employees reduce waste and participate in recycling.
At similar events last year, EMMC employees recycled more than ten tons of universal waste.
