The road to recovery for some patients recovering from a heart attack, an angioplasty, or heart surgery, can be a long one, but it is not one they have to travel alone.

Join other recent and former patients and their families for EMMC’s Cardiac Wellness of Maine Heart Support Group. Come listen to personal experiences that helped patients on the road to recovery, and get the much needed emotional support to help you or your loved one during the recovery process.  The support group members learn about heart disease, pick up tips to adjust, and feel reassured. 
The Heart Support Group meets the second Thursday of each month from 4 to 5:30 pm (excluding June, July, and August) in the Cardiac Wellness of Maine kitchen. Cardiac Wellness of Maine is located on the EMMC campus in Bangor. Free parking is available on the second floor of the EMMC parking garage.
