- Last year nearly 421 volunteers donated over 30,000 hours of service to patients of Eastern Maine Medical Center.
ROSSCARE's TELECARE volunteers made over 39,000 contacts with local shut-in and alone adults last year. These contacts are given 365 days a year at no cost to the participants.
Our oldest EMMC volunteer is 94 years young and still comes in 2 mornings a week to deliver the patient mail.
Our Heart to Heart Volunteers visited 1,107 cardiac patients in this past year!

For over 20 years, the Bangor Garden Club Plant therapists have donated plant starts, soil and materials along with their personal time to work with our pediatric and teen patients.
EMMC has 3 volunteers with over 40 continuous years of volunteer service and 18 volunteers with over 20 years of continuous service.
EMMC had 53 students volunteering over 3,000 hours of volunteer service in roughly 21 different departments during the summer of 2001. The students range in age from 14 - 17 and come from 15 different area high schools.
