In late March, the Society of Hospital Medicine honored Kenneth Simone, DO, SFHM, a physician at EMMC Family Medicine on Corporate Drive, with the Award for Outstanding Service in Hospital Medicine.
“I am truly humbled to be recognized by my colleagues in this way — especially when I look at past winners of this award. They're a ‘who's who’ of hospital medicine ‘hall of famers,’” says Dr. Simone. “This award, and all it represents, is a testimonial to hard work and dedication to a cause in which you strongly believe. I have been fortunate to work with extraordinary individuals and hospital medicine groups along the way and I look forward to continuing this work in the future.”
