EMMC Welcomes Four New Providers


(Bangor, Maine) -EMMC is growing our base of healthcare providers to expand our specialty care capabilities and improve access to primary care. EMMC welcomes:

Precious Dean, PA-C, EMMC Surgery and Trauma Specialists of Maine – 973-4949
Precious has been caring for patients for more than 16 years, first as a certified nursing assistant and most recently in diagnostic imaging as a registered radiologic and nuclear medicine technologist. Precious received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physician assistant studies at D’Youville College, and completed a nuclear medicine internship with UNC Hospitals. Precious is happy to return to the Atlantic coast where she has lived previously and is looking forward to working with a respected hospital-based surgical practice.

Grace Pearson, PA-C, EMMC Family Medicine, Orono – 866-4399
Grace comes to EMMC after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Worcester State University. Grace went on to pursue a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. A native to New England, Grace is happy to be in Maine and become a part of the EMMC family.

Kelly Pelc, FNP-C, EMMC Family Medicine, Husson Avenue – 941-2373
Kelly joins EMMC after providing care for both adult and pediatric patients at Acadia Hospital, Mayo Regional Hospital, and Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. Kelly received her bachelor of nursing from the University of Maine, and recently completed her master’s degree in nursing from St. Joseph College of Maine. She is nationally certified by the American Family of Nurse Practitioners. Kelly is a native of Maine, and is happy she has the opportunity to care for patients from her hometown area.

Sally Schwartze, FNP, EMMC Orthopedic Surgical Specialists – 973-9980
Sally has been caring for patients for more than 30 years. She started her career as an LPN at Bangor Mental Health Institute. She then earned her BSN at Husson University while working as an LPN on the Oncology unit at EMMC.  She then worked as an RN in ICU at EMMC for 16 years. While working in ICU she earned her master’s degree in nursing at Husson College, completing the Family Nurse Practitioner program and became certified in 2004. She worked as a nurse practitioner at Northeast Pain Management for the last ten years. Sally is very pleased to return to EMMC and join us in our mission to care for patients, families, communities, and one another.
