(Bangor, Maine) – From Paddington to Pooh, we all know teddy bears get sick, too. Whether it’s getting your hand stuck in a honey jar, or having an upset stomach from eating

On Saturday, January 20, from 1-4 pm, children, families, and of course, teddy bears, are invited to take part in a Teddy Bear Clinic at the Maine Discovery Museum, in partnership with Eastern Maine Medical Center. Children can bring their stuffing-filled friend for a check-up with Colette Sabbagh, MD, from Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Pediatric Primary Care, who will help create a course of care for the animals that will be quite bearable.

Also, after getting your bear treated and receiving a goodie bag, stick around to take part in these family friendly activities:
  • Follow the Germ Trail through the museum
  • Play in the Doctor’s Office
  • Participate in face painting
  • Sample healthy snacks
The Teddy Bear Clinic is included with admission to the museum.
